For a number of years I wrote a weekly column in a local newspaper here in North Central Florida.

My column was kind of hard to categorize, it included everything from local politics to poetry, from social commentary to vignettes. You’ve heard of people who march to the beat of a different drum, well I’ve always tried for a whole different band. I liken myself to a poster child for Attention Deficit Disorder. So it’s only fitting that my blog has turned into an online magazine.

I am still looking towards this blog as a place to practice and hone my words and express myself effecting only me. But it turns out, I want to do more. Go figure, right?

I have way too many areas of interest to have a chance of covering them all by myself, so I’m taking a shot in the dark here, and hoping that there are people out there who will want to contribute content and help fill up this continuous magazine and make it a more interesting place to hang out on the web.

I would like to thank my original editor, Skipper Hammond, for her suggestions, her direction, her patience and wisdom. We didn’t always agree on everything but I most usually learned from our disagreements.
